We have a 16’ Box truck for our business and I use ACE for oil changes. They are always great to work with, they do a great job and at a reasonable price. My last visit I asked them to take a look at the loading ramp on the truck as one of the welds was broken. I was afraid I would have to take it a specialty shop but Mike fixed it that day. Awesome shop!

I've had only best for my car here at Ace. The staff will let you decide what is more important to work on first. They go through the whole diagnostic and even take photos of the problems as they are working. I've for my cars forever mechanic.

Mike saved the day. I’d recommend ACE Automotive to everyone.
My family and I had driven to Napa Valley from LA for a few days of wine tasting. My wife and I had planned to fly home while my 2 daughters would drive my 2008 Volvo XC90 with 160K miles back to LA on the scenic route 1. But 2 days into our visit the Volvo started running very rough and I knew it wouldn’t make it safely down the coast. Our Airbnb host recommended ACE Auto but it was Sunday and all shops were closed. What’s more, ACE was completely booked up for several days. But early Monday morning I drove to ACE, introduced myself to Mike, and asked him to help me. He didn’t have to. But he did. Within a few hours, he had my car running like a charm and my daughters were able to safely drive it home. Mike and his team, including Amanda in the office, couldn’t have been nicer or more professional.

Very trustworthy business. Excellent service and friendly people. I had my car towed in to Ace today, broken strut. Sounded very bad and very expensive! Not to mention I brought it in too close to the weekend. I figured it would take a week now. Nope! Nope! Mike called with a very reasonable price, and should be done in a day or so. Excellent news!

Came in for a simple lube oil and filter. Counter associates were helpful in getting me comfortable and acclimated with the services my vehicle was gonna be receiving. Technicians were very fast and thorough with the whole process and informed me at the time and via text with an entire document of services performed and future services that would be required to keep my car in top shape. Family owned shop with trustworthy people who are dependable and do great work. We have been taking our vehicles there for a few years now and every single time we have great service. There is NEVER pressure or an upsell like you find in some places. If they say your car needs something... it actually needs it. I see cars, trucks and even RVs over there so chances are they can help you with whatever it is you are driving. Give them a chance to earn your business, you won't be sorry.

They are very honest and reliable and very skilled at what they do. They were up front about what  my costs would be and they stayed as close as they could to that price. This car was older and needed a lot of work, but they told me that it was worth it. That the engine was still strong. So we sank a good chunk of change and a year and a half later that car is still running strong, with high mileage. I trust them totally! In fact bringing my Jeep in for some work as soon as I make an appointment. 1/15/19 Update: Just got home after taking my Jeep in for a heater core repair. They did another fantastic job and at such a reasonable price! I have a long drive home up the mountain ( and in this cold rainy weather) and my car is happy again, no leaky coolant, no fogged up windows anymore! My ride home was warm dry and I could see again! lol I am so thankful we have such skilled and honest people to rely on in our town! Thank you, ACE Automotive! You have a life long customer here.

A friend who grew up with Mike sent me his way and he's always been several hundred less overall than other local shops and actually surprised me by replacing an old belt for free while installing a healicoil after a bad spark plug job stripped her out from one of those over priced shops down the road lol! That's how you get return business from me!

Ace is a great shop! I've been taking my car there for years and have recommended them to friends and family. I really like the downtown location, how I can take myself out for breakfast and a walk while my car's being worked on. Went here with a neighborhood coupon, needing an oil change. Put simply, friendly and family-run place that does good work timely and doesn't try to push or upsell or "find a multitude of things" to nickel and dime you with.
Reasonable prices as well. I recommend them and I will go back.

I've been taking my cars here for years and it's been a good experience. They've always been honest with me and the rates are reasonable, sure you can find a mechanic that does your work for you on driveway oftentimes cheaper, but for a shop it's reasonable and it's cheaper then the dealer.

 

Overall, i would recommend this place to have your car serviced. Mike is a great guy and has always been honest with me.

I was referred to Ace from Kevin at B & G Tires last fall. My husband had already used their services for his truck. When my friend Maui notified me that Silver Auto Service was closing I was upset. He had been so good to schedule maintenance for me and always found a way to help when I dropped in with one issue or another. I forgot, however, where he was going, although I did know the new job was in the vicinity of his last; I also knew that all the employees of Silver Auto had been offered employment at the same place. That seemed particularly impressive given that we were still in the throes of a terrible pandemic and people were driving less and needed less automotive service. So I set out to find him when I noticed one of my headlights was out, and actually got lucky...he was at the first place I tried: Ace Automotive. I asked to make an appointment but he insisted on checking to see if anyone could help me immediately. The rest is history; I have a working headlight and now know where I will be going in the future for my auto maintenance needs. Maui told me that it was a really great move for them.
